We are hiring Consultants and Senior Consultants to focus on outbound client engagement within the global consulting market. This is a commercial role for people who enjoy building senior relationships, developing opportunities, and staying close to live search work.
The role
You will spend much of your time building relationships with senior leaders in consulting firms across different countries and markets. This involves proactive outreach, maintaining regular dialogue, and developing credibility through informed, thoughtful conversations over time.
Alongside this client facing work, you will work closely with Analysts on live assignments. Analysts lead the research and search activity, while you help shape priorities, sense check direction, and ensure shortlists reflect both the client’s requirements and the wider commercial context. You will also engage directly with candidates during the process and take responsibility for client facing communication as searches progress.
Day to day, the role combines relationship development with hands on involvement in delivery. You are expected to stay close to the market, turn conversations into live mandates, and remain actively involved in assignments to ensure quality, alignment, and momentum from initial engagement through to successful outcomes.
At Senior Consultant level, you will take greater ownership of client relationships and manage more complex assignments across a broader international remit.
What we look for
We are looking for people who are comfortable with proactive business development and understand that results come from consistent, well judged activity. You should enjoy speaking with senior professionals, be able to handle rejection constructively, and take a long term view to relationship building.
You should also be able to contribute sound judgement to candidate selection and shortlisting, without needing to own the underlying research. Prior experience in recruitment, executive search, management consulting or professional services sales will add significant value to any application. Commercial awareness, strong communication skills, and reliability are central to success in the role.
