We worked exclusively on a recruitment project for a manufacturing client in Europe who are the leaders in their field, this search was performed on a retained basis.
The client wanted a Mergers & Acquisitions specialist who could actively look for the integration of several firms that they were in the process of acquiring in other countries, as a result this project had a restricted time period before they needed someone in place. As with any retained search we perform, the team put together a long list of suitable candidates and then vetted them down to a targeted short-list. The entirety of this short list was interviewed and three stand-out individuals were invited to attend face to face meetings at the Head Office. Once a single candidate had been highlighted one further meeting was arranged with the Chairman of the Board, as this was during the festive period and taking place in a mid-point location Consulting Point Search arranged a meeting room at an agreed airport to accommodate the meeting on short notice.
