Consulting Point were asked to assist with the growth of a new advisory practice within a leading engineering firm. We worked closely with the leadership team to understand what the perfect candidate could look like.
The client was looking for experienced management consultants with a strong expertise in the Energy and Natural Resources sector. Consulting Point put together a long list of individuals that fit these criteria and through a thorough selection process this became a shortlist of several exceptional candidates.
The successful candidate demonstrated an excellent track record of advising firms within the Energy sector on topics such as decarbonisation and energy transition. They quickly progressed through the process, receiving excellent feedback at each stage.
After it became clear that the candidate was to receive an offer, we advised the client on what a successful offer would need to look like in order to ensure there would be no need for negotiation. This resulted in a swift acceptance and both the candidate and client were delighted with the outcome.
