Demand for senior strategy leaders with private equity and life sciences experience remains highly competitive in London. Boutique firms working across PE, life sciences and value creation face a tight market, especially when roles require leadership, client ownership and delivery in a lean environment.
Challenge
A specialist international strategy consultancy wanted to strengthen its London office with an Associate Partner-level hire. The successful candidate needed to lead private equity-driven commercial diligence and strategy engagements and act as the most senior consultant locally. With a small team structure, cultural fit and leadership maturity were critical.
Solution
We ran a targeted search across MBB and top-tier strategy firms, focusing on candidates with private equity exposure, life sciences credibility and strong engagement leadership. A standout candidate was identified with 11 years of consulting experience across leading global firms, including several years leading complex engagements at a senior level.
