Context:
A global automation and warehouse solutions provider needed senior EWM capability in Austria to support several complex implementation programmes. The focus was on securing someone who could take ownership of a key workstream and provide functional leadership from day one.
Challenge:
Experienced SAP EWM stream leads are rare and usually committed to long term programmes. The role required deep technical knowledge and the confidence to manage dependencies, guide junior team members, and work closely with client stakeholders, which reduced the available talent pool to a small number of passive candidates.
Solution:
A targeted search was run across Europe, concentrating on senior EWM consultants with a record of leading workstreams in automation or large warehouse transformations. Priority was given to individuals with disciplined delivery experience and the ability to step into a leadership role immediately. This identified a highly experienced EWM specialist with strong functional depth and proven stream lead capability.
Outcome:
The consultant joined the Austrian team as a Senior SAP EWM Consultant and Stream Lead, strengthening delivery capacity at a critical stage of several programmes.
