Business consultancy Moorhouse has been acquired by German consulting giant SQS Software Quality Systems.

Based in the centre of London, Moorhouse Consulting delivers transformation projects that cover change management, customer journey improvement, strategic design, digital and technology transformations.

It also advises on post-merger and acquisition integration, programme management and performance improvement.

The firm, founded in 2004, said the acquisition highlights its focus on providing end-to-end services for clients, from strategy through to delivery.

The partners at Moorhouse said in a statement: “In combining with SQS we will be creating a true ‘transformation leader’ that converges the digital and physical worlds, providing assurance across products and processes, from design to physical build.

“We are delighted to be joining with a business that shares our passion for delivering technical excellence, continued innovation and the highest standards of client service.”

SQS chief exec Diederik Vos commented: “The acquisition of Moorhouse Consulting, an organisation which already has an outstanding and established reputation in the UK, gives us the capability to support companies’ urgent need to transform from strategy through to delivery, quickly responding to market changes without sacrificing quality.

“We warmly welcome their highly talented team to SQS and look forward to continuing to build upon their client base and excellent reputation.”

Corporate finance firm Clearwater International advised Moorhouse on the deal.
