Global information services company Experian has appointed Shri Santhanam as EVP and General Manager of Global Analytics and AI, focused on helping the firm to take full advantage of the potential of big data.

He joins from international management consulting firm Oliver Wyman where he spent a dozen years, worked latterly as a Partner and co-founded Oliver Wyman Labs, which helps clients use technology and advanced analytics in business transformation. Earlier he spent four years at Mercer Management Consulting.

In his new role, Santhanam also will chair Experian's global analytics council, working closely with the regions to shape and drive the overall analytics and AI agenda.
