Korn Ferry has announced the appointment of Dominic Schofield as the new chair of its UK board and CEO practice. According to Daren Kemp, the firm’s EMEA president, his promotion “provides a great opportunity to extend our strong foundations and expand the impact of the work we are doing in boardrooms”.

Kemp went on, “I am pleased to announce that Dominic Schofield will assume the role of chair of our UK board and CEO practice. Dominic, who will continue as managing partner of the practice, will shape how we present ourselves in the market and help further elevate and strengthen our already formidable stature with boards and CEOs.”

Schofield first arrived at Korn Ferry 15 years ago. Initially, he served as a senior client partner, for the EMEA board practice team. But in 2016, he was elevated to the rank of managing partner.

Prior to his time with Korn Ferry, he spent four years as a principal with Heidrick & Struggles’ board and industrial practices team – and previously also worked for two years as a deputy director for conservative research with the UK Conservative Party.

Under Schofield’s leadership, Kemp added that Korn Ferry would continue to strengthen its unique position, combining board advisory and executive search for clients around the world. He noted that “together with Dominic’s leadership”, the team will guide the growth of the practice and “help us bring the very best of Korn Ferry into boardrooms.”

Schofield succeeds Oliver Pawle, who steps back from his role as chair. He will continue to provide support to all colleagues, working closely with Kemp to ensure continuity through this transition and help develop a new generation of talent.
