EY has bolstered its Middle East business with the integration of the BI Consulting team, adding more than two dozen consultants to its consulting division.

Established in 2006, Riyadh-based BI Consulting has extensive experience in the delivery in organizational design, human capital, strategy implementation, transformation, and governance projects. The firm has since its inception delivered more than 150 projects across 14 sectors in Saudi Arabia and six other countries.

As part of the agreement, BI Consulting’s 26-person team (including two partners) will be integrated into EY Consulting, deepening the capabilities and expertise of the Big Four firm’s Business Consulting and People Consulting offerings.

Commenting on the deal, Omar Odeh, EY MENA Consulting Leader, said: “The integration of the BI Consulting team into the Consulting Service Line is a strategic move that goes beyond financial investment; it enriches our talent pool and expands our knowledge base and service offerings. Their in-depth and hands-on experience will further expand the breadth and depth of our offerings, enabling us to expand our impactful solutions for the communities we live and work in.”

For EY, this marks its first deal in the Middle East since its purchase of PACS in 2021. In the intervening period, the firm has significantly strengthened its consulting arm – organically and most notably by integrating the Strategy & Transactions team into EY-Parthenon, its dedicated strategy consulting division.

This latest move sees EY cement its position as one of the Middle East’s leading advisory firms in the strategy and human capital segments.

“At EY, we recognize that our clients face distinct challenges that require us to not only adapt, but pioneer new ways of working. Our resolve to enhance skillsets and leverage cutting-edge technology is vital to delivering transformative solutions for our clients that not only meet their current demands, but help outline the next wave of their growth journeys,” noted Odeh.
