When being retained on a project, we always look to fully understand the key elements of the company and role that will make our search more effective. This is often much more around personality and team fit that just a skillset, especially in this case as we were working with a long-standing boutique client. When reaching out to our network it was key that we were contacting people who were more entrepreneurial and team driven, rather than those who enjoy the red-tape of larger environments.
After a substantial search we were able to create a long-list of candidates and then present a short-list of a select few to the firm. All were of interest and as a result the interview process was started, this included three meetings with the final one being face to face. One candidate shone through as being a particularly good fit and demonstrated a passion to continue to develop, they saw her as a viable Partner within the business in the future.
Overall the whole process ran smoothly, relocation was sorted and both parties were able to start planning for their growth together.
