Context
Demand for Capital Markets consulting talent remains high as investment banks and wider financial services organisations respond to sustained regulatory scrutiny, governance pressure and complex transformation agendas. Firms need managers who can translate technical regulatory change into practical delivery across large and sensitive programmes.
Challenge
This mandate required a difficult combination of capital markets consulting credibility, strong risk and regulatory expertise, and the ability to operate with senior stakeholders across transformation workstreams. Profiles with that mix are limited, particularly at Senior Manager level, where most suitable individuals are already embedded in major client engagements and not easily reached through standard search channels.
Solution
Consulting Point ran a targeted search focused on hard-to-access consultants with current experience in risk, conduct and regulatory advisory. We identified a Manager from a Big Four consulting firm with direct exposure to regulatory change, governance enhancement, remediation activity and cross-border policy implementation within the capital markets sector.
