In the latest phase of a retained project supporting an international strategy consulting boutique, Consulting Point rapidly completed the first of the Associate Consultant assignments. Having already successfully completed the acquisition of key tier 1 talent into more senior positions, the focus of the ongoing project turned to entry level talent with the proven capability to excel in the intensely demanding and rewarding world of strategy consulting.
Through a swift identification of a bright and entrepreneurial candidate with a background in biotechnology who was driven to develop a career in strategy consulting focusing primarily in learning from key players from industry and consulting backgrounds. The successful candidate was interviewed very early in the process and our client had scheduled other interviews with other highly competitive candidates. Our direct approach and transparent communication with the candidate and our client helped run this process smoothly. Despite having other offers, including international positions, our client’s strong proposition was the clear choice.
With more work already in process as Consulting Point concludes this phase of the assignment, we anticipate more new additions to the team – and new entrants beginning their strategy consulting career with this outstanding firm.
