PA Consulting (PA), the global innovation and transformation company, is pleased to announce that Patrick Graves has joined as a Partner in its Energy and Utilities team in the US. Patrick brings nearly two decades of experience in utility strategy, grid modernization, resiliency, and major program delivery, further enhancing PA’s ability to help clients navigate the challenges of the energy transition.
Patrick joins PA after a distinguished career spanning leadership roles across the energy and utilities sector. Most recently, he led strategy and growth for AECOM’s US energy practice and also served as Program Director for San Diego Gas & Electric’s (SDG&E) strategic undergrounding initiative – a critical wildfire mitigation program valued at over $1 billion. His experience stretches across nearly every facet of the industry – including leadership roles at Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd) in Chicago as well as parent company Exelon, where he drove reliability and resilience programs, championed analytics, and advanced IT/OT integration.
At PA, Patrick’s experience will enhance the team’s strong utilities strategy capabilities in the US, helping clients make sound investment decisions, build stakeholder alignment, and deliver transformation. His leadership will support clients in addressing the dual challenge of decarbonization and rapid AI-driven load growth – from infrastructure modernization and resilience measures to navigating market and regulatory pressures.
